Rev Satyavani offers Pureland Buddhist services for those who are further away or who find it difficult to get to the temple for other reasons. You can find out when these are happening on our events page. Join Rev Satyavani live or watch later, once a fortnight at the Amida Mandala Buddhist Group page.
The services are suitable for anyone who’s interested in finding a steady space in amongst the hurry, suffering and noise.
The service will include a short Dharma talk, some nembutsu chanting and some other practices from our Amida Shu service book. Join your voice with Satya’s and know that others will be chanting with you from around the world.
The sessions are suitable for complete beginners and for experienced practitioners. You can attend every so often or regularly, or watch later at a time that’s good for you.
Whether you join live or later I’d encourage you to close the other windows on your computer, mute your phone, and arrange not to be interrupted during the half hour. Respect yourself, this space and the Buddha.
If you want to experiment with a daily nembutsu practice you can use these live nembutsu sessions as a support.
This practice will be broadcast live on Facebook here.
If you have any questions do feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org. The services start promptly so please do log onto Facebook a few minutes before (Satya will be there a few minutes early in silence). Satya will also be available for a little time after the service to answer any questions.
No donation is necessary but if you’d like to you can support the running costs of the temple and Amida Trust’s other projects here.
