This page lists our events and retreats, which are all in addition to our regular weekly schedule.

 

April

Sat 28th 10.30am – 12 midday Pureland Sangeet Choir. Our lovely Pureland choir, open to all. Led by Andrew Cheffings.

May

Sat 5th 7:30pm – 8:30pm (rescheduled after the snow day in March!) Dharma talk: What would the Buddha say? by Rev Satyavani.

Mon 7th at noon at the Evandine Well in Malvern – Khema and Kaspa will be blessing the well, all are welcome to join us.

Sat 12th April 10.3oam til 3pm Garden Volunteer Day. Help us out in the garden for an hour or longer, work with others from the sangha, enjoy lunch together (provided) and give something back to the temple. Suitable for all, email satya@satyarobyn.com to book.

Sat 26th 10.30am – 12 midday Pureland Sangeet Choir. Our lovely Pureland choir, open to all. Led by Andrew Cheffings.

June

Sat 2nd 10.30am – 12.30pm Nembutsu Intensive. Our continuous nembutsu practice – drop in or stay for the whole time. Followed by an optional bring and share vegan lunch. All welcome including families.

Sat 9th 7.30pm – 8.30pm Introduction to Pureland Buddhism: Just As You Are. This talk in the shrine room will be particularly helpful to those who haven’t visited the temple before, or those who’d like to find out more about our basic practice, philosophy and history, as well as the benefits of the nembutsu. 16th & 17th Training weekend for Aspirants – a weekend for those interested in stepping forwards on the path of Ministry. If you’re interested in aspirancy, speak to Kaspa.
