This page lists our events and retreats, which are all in addition to our regular weekly schedule.

June

Sat 9th 2pm til 3pm Amida Worcester

Sat 9th 7.30pm – 8.30pm Introduction to Pureland Buddhism: Just As You Are. This talk in the shrine room will be particularly helpful to those who haven’t visited the temple before, or those who’d like to find out more about our basic practice, philosophy and history, as well as the benefits of the nembutsu. All welcome, suggested donation £5 or whatever you can afford whether more or less. Any questions, email Satya & Kaspa at hello@amidamandala.com.

16th & 17th Training weekend for Aspirants – a weekend for those interested in stepping forwards on the path of Ministry. If you’re interested in aspirancy, speak to Kaspa.

Sat 23rd 10.30am – 12 midday Malvern Temple Community Choir. Our lovely drop-in Buddhist choir, singing rounds and Indian-influenced music, open to all abilities. Led by choirmaster Andrew Cheffings.

29th June – 1st July Mindful walking with Amida  – walking in the Malvern Hills as a Buddhist practice. With Kaspalita and Khemalashini email Kaspalita@amidatrust.com for more information.

July

Sat 14th 10.30am til 12 midday Volunteer morning. We’ll be in the garden if the weather allows – there are always lots of lovely jobs to be done! Followed by an optional bring & share lunch.

Sat 28th 10.30am – 12 midday Malvern Temple Community Choir. Our lovely drop-in Buddhist choir, singing rounds and Indian-influenced music, open to all abilities. Led by choirmaster Andrew Cheffings.
