If you live close enough to the temple to come along to one of our events or services, and want to taste our practice and form of Buddhism, we’d love to see you.
We have five weekly events that are open to the public. Our three nembutsu services a week are the heartbeat of the temple, we have morning meditation on Thursdays and a Saturday evening nembutsu circle which includes a listening/sharing circle. For more details see the weekly schedule.
Throughout the year we have one off events, including retreat days, immersive chanting sessions, volunteer days and introductory sessions. For more details see the events page.
Speaking of introductory sessions, these are designed with beginners in mind, but beginners are welcome to all of our events. If it’s your first time coming to a nembutsu service, come along ten or fifteen minutes early and we can have a chat before we start.
If you live a bit further away come and stay the night. We have a guest room that is available for people who want to explore our form of Buddhism, or come on a personal Pureland Buddhist retreat. Drop us an email, or click here for more details.
